In Case of Inclement Weather
If we need to cancel worship services or alter events at church, that information can be found on Channel 4 (KMOV) and Channel 5 (KSDK). It will be displayed as "St. Peter's UCC-New Haven." Cancellation information will also be posted here and on our Facebook page. An email will also be sent to everyone who is subscribed to our Constant Contact messaging system. If it's not a pleasant winter day, please don't feel compelled to come to church. In those situations, it's better to stay home and stay safe!
Celebrating the Season
Advent was a special time with all of the happenings at St. Peter’s UCC: Concert featuring the New Haven Schools Choir, Christmas caroling, Sunday School Christmas program, and so many talented musicians at every worship.
145th Anniversary Celebration
Sunday, November 3 marked exactly 145 years since the dedication of the German Evangelical St. Peter's Church in New Haven. Our service that morning included the baptism of Ian Kallmeyer. Following worship we gathered for food and conversation in our Fellowship Hall to celebrate this milestone.
Cars & Coffee
The weather was wonderful and we had a good turnout of vehicles (old and newer) in October. Mark your calendar for our next "Cars & Coffee" in the spring - Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 8-11 a.m. Bring your ride or just come and check them out!
Vacation Bible School
We had over 40 children join us during the course of Vacation Bible School July 22-25 for Fruits of the Spirit. The youngsters spent the week learning about the Holy Spirit and the gifts of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Easter Sunday 2024
Cross Dedication
In February of 2023 the new stainless steel cross crafted by Lloyd Borcherding was formally dedicated. We are grateful to the members of the Memorial Committee for their vision and collaboration which brought the project to fruition, and to those who through the years have made monetary contributions in memory of departed friends and family. We pray that this cross draws all people to God, demonstrating His presence in our community today and in the years to come.
