Our Covid-19 Prevention Plan
What is St. Peter's UCC doing to stop the spread of Covid-19?
Worship services are limited to 50 people to allow for social distancing of at least 6 feet.
Masks are required at the 8 a.m. worship service.
Masks are recommended at the 10 a.m. worship service.
Ushers wipe down all surfaces in the sanctuary and restrooms following each worship service.
Hand sanitizer and masks are provided.
A sign has been placed in our lobby reminding people not to enter if they have any signs of sickness.
Weddings, funerals, and baptisms are limited to 50 people to allow for social distancing of at least 6 feet.
Worship services, Bible studies, and other events are offered online.
Children's ministry volunteers and students are required to wear masks (grades 3 and up).
Choir practices have been placed on hold as recommended by the CDC.
Youth activities have been moved online.
All food service in the fellowship hall has been cancelled.
Ushers record attendance at each service via photos to enable contact tracing in event of Covid-19 spread.
Pastoral care is offered through prayer chains, phone calls, and outside visits.
All Bibles, hymnals, pencils, and cushions have been removed to limit surface contacts.
The offering is collected at the door, online, or through the mail.
Holy Communion, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, is distributed via prepackaged kits.
